Continuing Education

Saint Meinrad School of Theology is dedicated to the preparation and education of priests, permanent deacons and lay ministers for the Church, not only initially through academic and spiritual formation, but also on an ongoing, lifelong basis. Saint Meinrad is committed to providing year-round personal enrichment programs that are tailored to the needs of individuals involved in Church ministry.

The School offers workshops, seminars, retreats and days of reflection, as well as individualized sabbatical programs from one month to one year in duration and a number of programs for permanent deacon formation in various dioceses. Many of these programs take place in the Church Leadership Center, a state-of-the-art facility for ongoing formation.

Saint Meinrad lay students are encouraged to continue their graduate education beyond their degree. Saint Meinrad alumni may take graduate courses at a 50% tuition discount, provided that those credits are not used toward another Saint Meinrad degree. Students may also wish to pursue one of several graduate certificate programs, which are currently being developed.
